One of the best takeout places nowadays. Top 5 go to. Been going here for the past 10 years or so. Best kabobs in the South Sac/Elk Grove region. Amazing prices. Always hot and fresh. Pro tip: Best to call in on your way there and have your order ready for pickup upon arrival.

Best Afghani is the Sac area after 3 years of searching. We get several orderss of Chapli, a combination platter extra spicy chili sauce. It really is amazing, and the family that owns the establishment is very sweet.

Take out only. I love their kebab. Would come back again, they cook as you order so expect to wait for at least 20mins. You can also call so they can make it ahead of time. Its a family business, friendly people.

How did I not write a review for this place yet? I live in Honolulu but my sister and her husband took me while I was visiting. In May and then again in June! Their Bolani Bread was awesome! I don't know what's in it but it's so good. They also have a dish with eggplant and a yogurt sauce that I really enjoyed. Their sauces are so good! And there's a dumpling that was good too. This place is on my must visit when in town list. I just ate there again. Please patronize this local small business. They are such nice people with great service! They don't have done in anymore because well, good help is hard to find and keep.

**TAKEOUT ONLY!** Chopan Kabob House is a takeout only restaurant in the same plaza as USPS. The customer service was on point - kind, warm, FAST. We called in our order and were told it would be ready in 20 minutes. Once we were inside, payment was quick and easy. Food ordered: 1x Chicken Kabob - a tinge overcooked but overall delicious 1x Shami Kabob (ground beef) - dry, won't order again 1x Bolani (flatbread stuffed with potato and spices) - full order comes in a full pizza box! Was crunchy and delicious. Each Kabob order came with a mountain of rice, a very small salad, and a thick slice of bread. The rice was good, salad was fresh, and bread was fluffy. We aren't normally fans the free yogurt dips but Chopan's dips are delicious!! Make sure you use it as it really complements the food! We'll definitely be back to try the lamb chops and tikka kabob! Total ended up being $40ish dollars.

Feeling like having some Kabob? Well, look no further! This place in my opinion has the best Kabob! It's so good that I forgot to take any pictures of it because we were so excited to eat. It comes with 2 large pieces of Kabob when compared to others similar places around Elk Grove. But it's not just larger, the flavor is on point. This place is located in the Post Office Parking lot. They don't do dine in anymore, so keep that in mind when ordering from here. This is a family run place. I usually see only 2 people taking orders and cooking. It's cool watching them cook their food right in front of you. They have nothing to hide. You see all your kabobs getting cooked right there, freshly made! When you want some Kabob, definitely try this place out!
